We are a non-profit organization registered in Tanzania, located in Dar es Salaam, that aims to transform communities, develop leaders, and end gender-based violence against children and women.

The Jamii Kwanza Initiative (JKI) is a non-profit organization registered in Tanzania
Located in Dar es Salaam, that aims to transform communities, develop leaders, and end gender-based violence against children and women. We promote capacity building on development issues such as planning, implementation, management, and operations for community leaders and religious groups, empowering them to make responsible decisions, manage resources, develop projects and small businesses, and cultivate entrepreneurship, leadership, good governance.

are capable of saying no to any harmful practices in the community.

Promote the education learning process for secular and non-secular education through the establishment of Nursery and Primary schools. Through the facilitation of events such as training’s, conferences, meetings, symposia, and workshops, we will engage in dialogues and disseminate data and information related to small business development, and holistic development.

Together we make a difference and create a positive impact in the community by changing one’s life and build a better world for everyone.
Come and join our efforts to bring smiles to the faces of students at Itongolyangamba Primary School! We’re working on constructing 17 cubicles, providing inclusive toilet facilities for both female and male students.
We are in need of 400 bicycles to empower students to pursue their dreams and diminish deliberate school absenteeism at Meatu Secondary School, stemming from the challenges of long-distance walking. Our primary focus is on improving the safety and accessibility of education for every student.
Everything rises and falls on leadership. Having strong-minded and capable leaders is what every institution and organization needs. Help us bring this dream into reality by capacitating and empowering our leaders to make responsible decisions.
